What is a library when ‘everywhere is here’?
What is the role of the public library when digital inforamtion is so readily accessiable everywhere. How should traditional spaces of information change for a digital world? Could the future of the library be an urban information bar?

I am new to the community here. Despite alot of controversy, the library here did a huge renovation/building addition project – millions and millions!
They have done statistics about new library card subscriptions, library users, events held at the library etc since the renovations. The statistics are absolutely amazingly up, up, up. Just goes to show what a good community and good library can do! Even teenagers are hanging out at the library it is such an amazing space they have created. A real model for
what libraries can be. (by the way, I am in
Steamboat Springs, CO)
